Training a New Generation to Finish the Task

After serving Converge's heritage in Sweden for the past 12 years, God has expanded our ministry of coaching and mentoring church planters and movement leaders exponentially.  There is a great need to equip, train, and walk alongside national leaders enabling them to strategically and effectively reach their cities and nations.

Soul is a church planter in Geneva, Switzerland whose congregation consists of leaders from the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the American Mission in Switzerland, international commodities traders, and global non-profit charity workers.

Penao is a regional movement leader in Nagaland, India.  While planting his own multi-tribal church in Dimapur, he also has a church planting movement in Assam and Arunachual Pradesh.  One tribe he works with lives on both sides of the India-China border.

Bela is an Anglican bishop in Mwanza, Tanzania.  He recently ordained 14 new deacons and deaconess and tasked them with planting 14 new churches in their region.  We are watching the birth of a new movement in this part of Africa.

Tomass is the Dean of Students at the Baltic Pastoral Institute in Riga, Latvia and the director of Missions Steps Latvia.  He trains and leads the next generation of pastors and church planters in a Baltic nation with an uncertain future.

Joseph and Isabelle are co-pastors and church planters in Västerås, Sweden.  They are uniquely gifted to be movement leaders.  They serve several ministries in Sweden and beyond and are sought after worship leaders and recording artists.  Entrepreneurial in nature, they do business as mission to self fund their efforts.

The same dedication is true for Kenno and Jana based in Helsinki.  They are currently the Chief Networking Officers for M4 Europe, a leading Norway based church planter training ministry now in 15 European nations plus Australia and South Africa.  In addition, Kenno and Jana have their own church planting school that is training Finnish leaders to start new discipleship groups throughout their nation.  What an amazing team!

It is our privilege to walk alongside these leaders - and others - as coaches, mentors, counselors, and friends.  God keeps opening doors for us to serve - and we love walking through those doors to see what's on the other side.  As dual USA-Sweden citizens, we have tremendous flexibility in meeting the challenges of global training.  We serve strategic alliances between Converge and ReachGlobal, Mission International (Sweden), M4 Europe (Norway), GoodWord Partnership, and the Anglican Church in Europe and Africa.

In addition, in the last four years, the social media ministry with our Swedish partner, Mission International, has seen over 58,000 women from 50 nations receive Jesus as they said "Amen" to him for the very first time.  Many are from countries closed to the gospel.  This is something only God could do.
