Emily felt called to missions in high school. God has continued to affirm that call, leading her to Senegal on summer mission trips as a university student. She taught for 5 years at Dakar Academy in Senegal, gaining an even greater love and desire to share the good news with the Senegalese people.

God has opened the door for Emily to work with Converge in reaching out to Wolof people in their language. She will be working with local women, building relationships, using Discovery Bible Study, and praying for God to begin a Disciple Making Movement among this least-reached people.
