Youth Director

About Christ Community Church

At Christ Community Church, we believe that young people aren’t just the future of the Church but are the Church now. Our current youth ministry serves approximately 125 middle school and high school students and their families, with a wide range of socio-economic, faith stages, and cultural backgrounds. We call ourselves “Radical Youth” because of the new, radical way of life Jesus modeled for us: a life of radical selflessness, radical devotion, and radical love. Our desire is to lead students to total life transformation in Christ. The role of the Youth Director will be to draw, engage, and invest in middle school and high school students inside and outside of the church. The Youth Director will report to and collaborate with the current Student Ministries Director to oversee a passionate team of volunteers, and partner with parents/guardians to cultivate the spiritual growth and development of students (6th-12th grades).

Why Christ Community Church?
We are a growing, passionate, multicultural church in Southeastern Massachusetts with a desire to be a beacon of hope in our city, and with a mission to connect people with Jesus in a life-changing way. We are seeking to add a full-time Youth Director to our very fun staff team. We have a saying that we take Jesus seriously, but not ourselves: You have to have a good sense of humor, but we also place a high value on being missionally and relationally unified, including giving and receiving feedback and being willing to engage in healthy conflict resolution. It helps if you have an affinity for our New England sarcasm! We are not just looking to fill an empty position, but looking for someone who is called to youth ministry. This person desires to be a committed member to our family who wants to invest in our community and grow with us. There are many opportunities for advancement in ministry as the youth ministry grows and we are looking for someone to intentionally invest in for the future.
